SM001: What Role Schedules Should Play In Administering The New Government Forms of Contract
The aim of this course is to significantly improve participants' capacity to prepare and submit "successful Programmes" for their projects when they are governed by the New Government Forms of Contract.
SM002: Constructing, Analysing & Auditing Programmes from Baseline to Close-out
The aim of this course is to significantly improve participants' capacity to prepare, analyse and audit Programmes throughout the construction stage. Far too many Programmes/Schedules exist with errors and omissions due to lack of being scrutinised before issuing for Construction.
The aim of this course is to significantly improve participants’ capacity to better understand the five main methods of Delay Analysis in Construction Programmes. In addition to the training course each delegate will be given the opportunity to meet for ľ of an hour on a 1-2-1 basis with the facilitators of the course on a prearranged date and time at our offices in Blessington (or by conference call) so they may discuss in private their particular Programming requirements.
SM004: The New Government Forms of Contract - Use of Planning Through Preparation Stage to Site Instruction Level
The aim of this course is to give an overview of the role of the Programme in the New Government Form of Contract and highlight how the Programme can be used to better manage a project – from Tender preparation stage to site instruction level. The training session will include good practice guidance, what should be expected from the Contractor so that a Manager can effectively and fairly administer this contract.
SM005: Best Habits of Effective Project Management
The aim of this course is to significantly improve participants’ capacity to better manage their Programmes/Projects through utilising “Best Habits of Effective Project Management”. We will also give an overview of the traits of the destructive habits of ineffective people and how they may negatively impact on your Programme.
SM006: Preparation of Construction Programmes for Delay Analysis
The aim of this course is to provide the student with the understanding of how to go about creating a Programme using the five main methods of delay analysis. A sample Programme will be used in the class with theoretical delay scenarios which the student will then work through to create five different methods of delay analysis.
